Nestled in the Adirondack Mountains in beautiful Lake Placid, NY, The Nest is an apartment ministry of Lake Placid Baptist Church. 

We invite pastors and others in full or part-time Christian ministry to use this cozy getaway to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the many opportunities within our small Olympic village.  The Nest is just a quick walk from Main Street and a great location from which to enjoy every season of the year in the Adirondacks. Rooms include a private bedroom with a queen-size bed, an open concept living and dining area with an open bunk room off to the side that sleeps two. The couch also opens up to a queen-size bed to accomodate two more overnight guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a full-size bathroom with a shower. 

We provide parking for one vehicle at The Nest location. Additional parking is available in the church parking lot just two blocks away. Pets, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, and the use of tobacco-related products (including electronic nicotine delivery systems) are not permitted on the property.  

The cost is simple; we ask for a donation that fits your budget plus a $75 cleaning fee. Payment is not required until your departure and can be made with cash, check or online with any major debit or credit card. If you desire to make your payment prior to your arrival you can do so by mailing a check to Lake Placid Baptist Church, c/o The Nest, or you can visit our GIVE page and select 8026 Nest as your gift designation. (Online giving requires that you set up an account with a user name and password. Please do not send cash through the mail.)
