Give to Lake Placid Baptist

The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given – when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship. When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our God. If you would like to make a one-time gift or set up recurring automatic giving online please follow the link below. Thank you for your generosity.

A New Way to Donate

Through our online donations platform, you have the ability to set up recurring giving. Whether you want to give weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or even yearly, you can set up a recurring donation so you will never forget to give when life gets a little crazy.

You are able to set up a recurring donation based off your bank account (which is the best option to save us processing fees!), or any debit/credit card you choose. Once it is set up, you will receive an email confirmation, as well as a receipt each time your donation is processed. Every contribution to our general fund is tax-deductible to you. Thank again for your generosity!

Ministry House Project

In 2012 with the arrival of Jim Koenig as our new pastor, LPBC leadership and members strongly believed that this investment was necessary. We recognized that for our senior pastor to be effective in outreach and ministry within our community, he and his family need to live in our community.

In a village population of 2,638, the average home cost is $363,606 (2009). In addition, due to the popularity of our little village as a vacation destination, long-term rental property is almost non-existent.  With all these facts in mind, and knowing that we were the only church in the community that didnot offer housing for our senior pastor, we took a step of faith and purchased a home on 52 Acorn Street in October of 2014.

Along with providing housing for our pastor, this home also complements our current ministry in many ways:

  • New location for small group meetings and Bible studies
  • The Nest: a one-bedroom apartment that  serves as a retreat for ministry partners and those in full time ministry.

Our goal as a church is to quickly pay off the mortgage on this property and once again be debt free as a ministry.
